The Restaurant Challenge

The students were given the challenge of creating and opening their own fictitious restaurant.  They have worked with groups to chose the themes of their restaurants, the menu and to create a visual element that will draw people to try out their establishment.

We are asking people to take a look at the 3 different restaurant options and to choose their favourite.

The competition is based on the following factors:

1. Creativity - how creative the menus & the artwork is
2. Artwork - how well is the artwork done
3. English - how well is the English written
4. Overall - the overall presentation

How to vote:  please look through the 3 different options and make a comment on the winning restaurant.  Simply state - 'I vote for this restaurant because ...' and your name.

If I had to go to live on a deserted island, I will pack my cellphone first. I can call my friends or my family. And if I have an emergency situation, I can call 119.

Second, I will bring my mp3 player. I can listen to music, then I can't feel bored.

Third is food. I can't live without food.

The next is water. I can't live without this, too.

And fifth, I will bring clothes. If I wear same clothes everyday, then I will be very dirty.

Sixth is a lighter, because I need light at night.

And the last is my family. I don't feel lonely if my family comes to the deserted island with me.

I want to bring these seven things to the deserted island...

True Friendship is Precious

Would you rather have a lot of money and no friends, or

If we have lots of friends, maybe we're very happy.

And if we have lots of money, also we're happy.

But! No matter how we have a lot of money,

if we don't have many friends we're bored obviously. I am sure about this.

Nowadays, I feel tired easily. So, I really want to go to the beach. Because I want to enjoy swimming and resting. First, I want to go to the beach. Second, I want to have a new cellphone. Third, if I can be a lawyer, I want to boast about myself. Fourth, I want to earn a lot of money. Fifth, if I earn a lot of money, I'll buy everything for my parents. Sixth, I will give the money to poor people. Seventh, I'll study harder. Eighth, I want to enjoy my hobbies. Nineth, I want to have my own privacy. Lastly, I really want to enjoy my life. I wrote 10 things to do. Those are very important and I wish they could come true.

I Prefer Friends Over Money

Money and friends are really important in our life! Without money we can’t buy things that we need and friends are a person that shares life but what if someone will ask you to choose between having a lot of friends and no money or having a lot of money but no friends?

I guess it is a really difficult question! But I’ll choose a lot of friends but no money because being lonely is really more terrible than being poor.

When I transferred schools everything is new! School, house, friends…. So I didn’t have friends, it took a long~~ time to make friends so I really hate to be lonely! And if I will have a lot of friends even I didn’t have money I can enjoy life and my friends can help me!

In my opinion making friends is harder than making money so I prefer friends over money.

I Will Buy, Buy, Buy ...

If I won 1 million dollars I would buy many things and save money.

I will save a lot of money

I will buy many clothes, shoes, bags, and change my cellphone and MP3.

I will buy electronic dictionary and notebook computer, too!!

And I will buy many things about BigBang like album, goods, etc...............

And I will buy a car, house, and travel in the future by my saving money.

I Love Chicken

If I had to eat one thing, l would want to eat chicken.

I love to eat chicken. Maybe l get chicken, l must have eaten it. Mt father loves to eat chicken, too. I think all people love to eat chicken. Chicken is delicious.

I love to eat pizza, too. But I don’t like its taste. Because of my older brother, l have eaten chicken. Many chickens are in the world. I like spicy chicken. My younger brother doesn’t like spicy chicken.

I go to an academy. I’m very tired and hungry. So I come to my home, l have to eat something. Therefore I usually eat chicken after I come home.

But maybe if I eat chicken every day, I will be very fat. If I will be very fat, I can’t play any sports. I love to play basketball. But jumping is very important in basketball. Maybe if I am fat, I can’t jump higher than before. However I love to eat chicken.

Therefore I want to eat chicken every day.

Everyone Has Their Own Dream

Everyone has their own dream.

Some want to be a Doctor and others want to be a designer ,sports player and other different jobs...

I also have a dream. My dream is to become rich, so I want to be a business woman other jobs maybe make me rich but I think business is the best job to become rich with a job that is interesting.

A Teacher

I want to be a teacher in the future. This dream has not changed since I was 7 years old.

I have to study very hard to become a teacher. Because teachers have to teach children and I have to have a lot of experience, too. If I have a lot of experiences, I can teach this to my children. And I can advise, too. I have to love children. When I am kind to my children, some children will be kind to me, also but some other children will oppose me sometimes.

But I want to be a teacher who all children like and respect as a teacher.

I Would be a Bird

If I can be born again I want to be born as a bird because if I were a bird I can fly and travel the world for free. I really want to travel the world but it can cost a lot of money and I have a lot of things to do such as studying and enjoying life(listen to music, do crafts….) but if I were a bird I would have a lot of time to travel because a bird’s job is to sleep and eat…

I want to be a bird but I don’t like insects so I will be a bird that eats only bread!!!

I Hope and Want to be a Lawyer

I hope and I want to be a lawyer.

Because lawyers can help and speak for people who don’t have power. Also I can earn a lot of money, then I will be rich. But my necessary purpose is if I study harder, I can come to be a popular and famous lawyer. It means, I can see my results, if I work hard and do my best.

So, I love my future job as a lawyer. What can I do for my future job? First of all, I must have a modest character because lawyers have a good image. So I will be modest character. Second, I study harder than now to when I’m 25year’s old. I will never forget to study. Lastly, I never breakaway in the study way. Unless I come to be a bad student, maybe I can come true to my future.

I think it’s very important. Anyway, I love my future job forever.

When I grow up, l want to be a president.

Because many people want to be the president. Maybe l can become the president, l can be a celebrity and l don't play anything.

However the president makes a lot of money. l think the president is Korea's face. So the president's work is very important. If the president makes some mistakes, many people say bad names to him. So maybe if I become the president, l won't want to make many mistakes.

First, Internet surfing.

I love internet surfing because I do different things online and offline^^

I meet online friends, and we become intimate.

Second, Play online games.

When I play these games, I can feel satisfied.

I kill monsters, I get lots of money and complete the quest.

Third, Listen to Music.

When I listen to Music, I'm happy.

And I can know about new songs.

Fourth, Read webtoon.

I read '일상날개짓‘, 'school holic', '와라편의점’,‘실질객관동화’ and ...... too many.

webtoon makes me have fun and smile.^^

Fifth, Do photoshop by tablet.

I can make pretty handwriting.

Sixth, Watch TV.

I can watch many fun programs.

But I can't watch them.

Because they start in the afternoon and evening, but I go to the academy from 5:40~10:30.. Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seven, Play with my friends.

Eighth, Watch my favorite drama.

My favorite drama is 'pasta'.

I cannot watch this, but I can watch reruns.

Ninth, Play Nintendo DS.

I'm happy to play my games, but I want to buy new games everyday.

Last, Sleep.

When I sleep, I can feel very good!!!!But when I get up, I can feel very bad.^^

I Want to Meet Lionel-Messi

I want to meet an Argentina famous soccer player Lionel-Messi.

I want to meet him very much, because he is my favorite soccer player and he is also my hero, and I want to introduction him, because he lives too hard and he has growth trouble.

He has a growth trouble so his height is only 169cm so when I watch TV he looks smaller than other players but he overcomes that and these day he is one of the best soccer players in the world, and also he plays in a famous soccer club, Barcelona. He plays with Henry, Ebrahimbich and Xavi.

I think he is the best soccer player in the world because he overcomes that growth trouble and makes his dribble skill so I think he is the No.1 soccer player in the world.
